BuildRenovate exists because renovating shouldn't feel like signing a blank cheque. We turned Calgary's most common renovation projects into products — with the price on the tag, the scope on paper, and every change signed before it costs you anything.

Why a store?

When you buy anything else, you see the price, what's included, and what upgrades cost — before you commit. Renovations have worked the opposite way: vague scopes, lump-sum quotes and surprises at invoice time. Listing projects like products forces the transparency up front, where it protects you.

Where the prices come from

Every range is benchmarked from published 2026 Calgary contractor price guides and retail supplier pricing (including Home Depot and RONA shelf prices for material lines), then confirmed against your actual home with a free site visit. Prices on this site are planning ranges — your signed spec is the real number, line by line.

Who does the work

BuildRenovate is your general contractor. You sign one contract — with us. We plan the project, price every line, pull and coordinate permits, and put a project manager on it. The trade work is performed by vetted, licensed and insured subcontractors who work under us: we select them, schedule them, supervise their work, inspect it, and pay them. You never chase a trade, referee a scheduling clash, or wonder who's accountable — that's our job, and the workmanship warranty is ours too.

What that means practically: one number, one schedule, one point of contact. If a subcontractor underperforms, replacing them is our problem, not yours. And because changes only happen through signed, priced change orders, nobody on site can quietly grow your budget.
